When a leader understand what is required
One of the best interviews I have read in a long time and very refreshing. When a leader understand what is required of him or her, its amazing how quickly the organisation can move forward. Roger mentions Vision and Emotional Empathy, the first one should be easy enough for 90% of leaders, the second one in my experience is key because this is where a lot of leaders pay lip service. I understand that Emotional Empathy does not come naturally to some people but I wish some leaders had more integrity around admitting to themselves that this is where they need more support.
